Trying something new:
It's a pretentious-sounding voice in very unpretentious surroundings, ha. Just having some fun with the new camera.

NCAA/NBA show Thursday on Blogtv
In a moment of youthful indiscretion, I decided to hold a live video broadcast on Blogtv.com for the NCAA/NBA games tomorrow. I'll be on camera here discussing the NBA and NCAA games with fellow chatters. Yes, this does mean you get to see the ugly mug behind the fist in my profile pic.
We'll see how this will work. I welcome your participation, support, and scorn as I stride bravely forward into the technology frontier (ouch!). No registration needed to chat. See you there!

NBA Videocast: Who can Beat Boston or Los Angeles?
I taped this two weeks ago. It's not that great, but since it's the day before vacation and your standards for content are low, I'll re-post it here. Hey, at least my shirt is kind of cool. More videos like this (ok, better than this) to come. Let me know what you think by e-mail or comment.

Artist of the Week: Jessie Cantrell
Black 20 News is a Youtube feature that lets you know the interesting Internet and technology news of the week. The hostess, Jessie Cantrell, is funny (she also does comedy in her spare time) and attractive without coming across as vapid or insincere. Ok, the part where she says "I love you" at the end of the show is insincere, but nerd-boys with fragile egos eat that stuff up. ("If I close my eyes, I can pretend it's my mother saying that instead of what she usually said, which was 'Put away those Star Wars toys and go outside!'.").
It's worth your time: here are a few clips from the show. Plus, you can always "borrow" news stories from the videos and post them on your blog! Err, wait, I only thought that, not said that. None of you do that, right? Right?!
1. Jessie interviews the Naked Cowboy of New York City fame regarding his lawsuit of the M&M commercial.
2. Jessie hosts last week's show--note the basketball passing commercial.
3. Jessie shows you a site (watch middle of video) that allows you to view blocked web-sites at work and elsewhere. Of course, Moderately Cerebral Bias is so virtuous that it would never be blocked...what do you mean, it's not blocked because no one cares?! (fake cry).
4. There's a running joke on the show about Jessie torturing her interns. Here she is killing them. Mmmm, hot, bullet-driven, sexy death. What's that? Most guys don't have a fantasy about being gunned down by a brunette during her wild killing spree? Um, I've said too much.

Athlete AV: NBA Players and their Dogs
Elie Seckbach is one of my favorite videocasters. You should subscribe to Elie's channel on Youtube. Some of the videos can be a little slow, but it's always fun to watch Elie and the players seek common ground in their interactions.
Below, Elie interviews Rip Hamilton, Maurice Evans, and others on their dogs. By the way, Mo also talks about how great it was playing with the Pistons. Come to think of it, Detroit does have some of the coolest players in the league. Particularly amusing is when one NBA player at the end says he'd want to be a lawyer, and his teammate quips back "Yeah, because he'll be a defendant one day."

Videocasting: Girls Talking Sports
I know it's nearly Christmas, and so maybe people haven't gotten a chance to read Extra P.'s column. But it is really well-done; please do comment and tell him so.
Anyway, one of my readers sent me an e-mail about my Sports Gal post yesterday. We debated for a moment whether a Sports Gal was really a great pick for a girlfriend/wife or not. So I decided to dump a few videos of other Sports Gals on here; make up your own mind in the comments, if you wish. (Yes, I know, this is a completely lazy post, but I wanted to fill some space).
The first is a Fanhouse Minute from ThisSuitIsNotBlack. If you're not watching Fanhouse TV, you're missing out; David's drinking of a raw egg, Miss Gossip graphics, etc. make for fun viewing.
The second is quick thoughts on the Mitchell Report by BGirl5. The fun part is the first 10 seconds.
The third is Fantasy Football Analysis by foryourhealth. The funniest part, for me, is she named her Fantasy Football team "Sunshine Puppy Bear" team. Can you imagine the burn of losing to a girl who calls her team that? Ha, I love it!
